Thanksgiving!

Recently, I have discovered challenge blogs so decided it's time to dust off my own blog (inactive for a long time) and start blogging again. This card is for Picture Perfect Creations Colour Challenge 32 (http://ppc-challenges.blogspot.com/2010/09/ppc-cc-32.html) - lovely fall colours so perfect for a Thanksgiving card. I don't have the new Stampin' Up colours yet so I used colours as close as I could get - Real Rust, More Mustard and Kiwi. I used a Cuttle Bug leaf pattern embossing folder for the background and SU stamp set "Darling Dots". The sentiment is from SU "Holidays & Wishes". I always have to glam up my cards a little so the leaf and the centre of the flower have glitter on them...Enjoy!

  1. Love, love your card! I have the same embossing folder and never once considered turning it on the side. Thanks so much for the inspiration to try new placements with a folder. Your card is beautiful and you really worked the color combo this week. Thanks so much for sharing your inspiration with PPC!
